Over the next few weeks we will be taking your suggestions on how to re-launch the Voice. When we started this site several years ago it was with the intention of building an online forum that was not subject to censorship or elitism. A place where the residents of Greeley could inform the other residents of Greeley as to the happenings in our little town. Somewhere along the way we lost that vision and now we want it back!
As in the days of our infancy, once again we turn to you and your suggestion for a new direction.

Our local paper has lost
it's mind, charging as much for their paper as the New York Times. In
addition, now they think the online version is worthy of a pay-per-view
status. Pay-per-view? Really?! Competition has never been more needed.
We need your help!
I was fortunate as a kid to have been involved in journalism. Now I'm really old. Back then I met guys like Dick Connor with the Rocky Mountain News and Bob Martin of KOA radio; true journalist with integrity.
The idea is that the town itself will report on the town itself. No letter to the editor necessary, each and every story is in effect a letter to the editor. In fact the contributors to the Greeley Voice are not trained journalist at all.
We need people who can take this forum to another level. We need a second opinion in this town and right away!
Maybe one that doesn't cost an arm or a leg, to view, read or advertise.
